Why MPC

A better environment to get better.

Junior Analysts learn in a setting where finance is treated as a craft: prepare, ask good questions, build the model, understand the business and communicate the answer clearly.

The role also creates access to a peer network that takes recruiting seriously while still making room for mentorship, feedback and shared progress.

The role

What Junior Analysts do

01

Build technical skill

Work through accounting, valuation, transactions, markets and investment concepts in practical contexts.

02

Research and discuss

Study companies, deals and themes, then pressure-test the thinking with other members.

03

Contribute to the community

Help with events, recruiting preparation and the culture that makes the organization useful to its members.

Who should apply

Curious, prepared and dependable.

There is no single prescribed background. Strong candidates show genuine interest in finance, evidence that they can learn quickly, thoughtful communication and the willingness to follow through on commitments.

MPC is especially interested in students who want to become better investors and teammates—not simply add another line to a résumé.
